Understanding Account Merging
Account merging on OKX allows you to combine two separate accounts into one primary account. For example, if you have Account A and Account B, merging them would transfer the email/phone number from Account A to Account B. After the merge:
- Account A's information migrates to Account B.
- Account A is deactivated, leaving Account B as your sole active account.
When to Use Account Merging
- Changing Contact Details: Your current phone/email is linked to another OKX account.
- Linking New Details: The phone/email you want to add is already tied to a different OKX account.
